We celebrated both the Fourth of July and Canada Day weekend by going to the beach for something I called the North American Friendship Beach Party. (The name didn't catch on as well as you would think). We were a little concerned about the weather after some rain Friday morning, but it held off and Saturday was a beautiful day for a beach party. After sweltering in my non-air-conditioned school all week, jumping in the water felt great.
